Spring Has Sprung
What an incredible start to the season. We have been gifted with unseasonably warm weather and sales have been ever increasing. We hope this has been reflected in garden centres and aquatic stores as the aquatic trade has needed some good fortune over the last few years. As always be sure to book a trolley with us by phoning or emailing the usual channels to secure a place for same week delivery.

Pistia stratiotes (Water lettuce) floats on the water surface and provides shade for fish and cover for other aquatic wildlife. The deep reaching roots filter water and helps to maintain a clean eco system. The base of the plant sends runners and produces pups to multiply and create a wonderful raft. Lobelia cardinalis ‘Queen Victoria’ has proven to be long standing best seller in retail environments due to its fantastic colour. Flower spikes with deep red petals and purple red foliage to compliment. One of the most striking plants in a plant area and the margins of a pond. Available in 9cm pots at £1.99 and Gardener’s Choice at £3.80

Tubbed floating plants and oxygenators have been in exceptional demand this season. For this reason we have exhausted our stocks of many varieties, however we will be back to our usual steady supply in the coming weeks. However we still have good supply of Stratiotes aloides (watersoldier). In outers of 10 at £2.24 each
